Still many others are wondering, what just happened? How did a major sales holiday just pop up in the middle of summer?
When we take staff trips, we don't just go to conferences and trade shows. We make sure to experience new and exciting adventures everytime we step out the door. Recently we ventured down to Atlanta to check out our new store rebuild, Whole Foods Market in Alpharetta, GA, but not without getting cultured on the art of scratching and scribbling at the Scratch DJ Academy.

On what has previously been deemed “retail’s biggest holiday,” Black Friday this year was quite the letdown. It was predicted that this would be the biggest holiday shopping season ever, but according to the National Retail Federation, the total spending over Thanksgiving weekend was projected to decline 11% to $50.9 billion. While the economy, jobs, and consumers can always be determining factors, this year left many asking, “where is everyone?” The real test is the upcoming Christmas holiday.
